Hey everyone! Welcome to Miniature American Shepherd Spot where you will find that one breed everyone loves .. Yes! You guessed it a MAS! I am a small in-home breeder and I take great pride in my puppies I am a kennel-free Breeder, which means all of our American Shepherd Puppies are hand raised in our home and are a very important part of our family. The pups are handled with lots of love. We spend a lot of time with our puppies so that they are very well socialized. I am a “American Shepherd only” breeder so we don’t breed other dogs. We register exclusively with AKC and all pups go home with a health guarantee. Our goal here is to produce healthy, happy Miniature American Shepherd that have wonderful temperaments. I have learned through experience that  are one of the most loving, clingy, loyal, intelligent, humorous, and low-maintenance breed. Miniature American Shepherd Information

  • Miniature American Shepherds are intelligent, affectionate, and highly trainable. It is very rare to find an aggressive one. Occasionally, you’ll meet a pup that’s a bit reserved with strangers. With plenty of socialization, patience, and positive reinforcement, a shy puppy will grow into a confident and well-adjusted adult.
  • These dogs are eager to please but have strong herding instincts. Without enough exercise and mental stimulation, they may nip at heels or try to herd children and pets. Daily walks, playtime, and puzzle toys keep them happy.
  • Puppies are enthusiastic eaters. Monitoring their food intake is important, as this small but active breed can become overweight if overfed. They are generally healthy with a long lifespan, but responsible breeders test for hip dysplasia and eye issues.
  • All puppies are clumsy, but Mini American Shepherds are small and agile, which means they can squeeze into tight spots. Standard puppy-proofing is essential: secure electrical cords, toxic cleaners, and heavy furniture that a curious pup could topple.
  • People often ask about their barking. While they make excellent watchdogs with a sharp bark, they are not excessive barkers. However, because they are alert by nature, providing enough exercise is the best way to prevent nuisance barking.
